LET’S MEET OUR GUEST – Michele Madjid

Michele Madjid is a seasoned hairdresser from Sydney with over 20 years of experience in the industry. She founded “The Colourist,” her own successful business, and developed the innovative Colourist Board, a tool designed to enhance the hair colouring process. Michele shares her insights on colour analysis and transforming salon consultations.

The Colourist Board

Within the Colourist Board kit and booklet, you will find 12 seasonal colour analysis boards. It comprises the 4 main seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. I am super excited to share with you that The Colourist Board has just launched, and you’re amongst the first in our industry to hear about how it can revolutionise your approach as a Hair Colourist.
This booklet will redefine the way you approach your client consultations. You will have the tools to:

  • Find skin tone
  • Find perfect colour season
  • Season colours to match skin tones
  • Palette board to find season match
  • Hair colour swatches to guide your consultation
  • Season characteristics such as ‘Low contrast between hair skin and eyes'

Transforming Salon Consultations

Here are some of the benefits of matching Hair Colour to your client’s skin tone

  • Enhanced Natural Beauty: When a hair colour aligns with the client’s skin tone, it highlights their natural features, making them look radiant and vibrant.
  • Healthy Appearance: The right colour can give the illusion of a healthier complexion. It minimises the appearance of imperfections and makes the skin look more even-toned.
  • Reduced Need for Makeup: Clients often find that with the right hair colour, they need to wear less makeup. Their natural features are enhanced, reducing the need for additional cosmetic products to create balance and harmony in their look.
  • Boosted Confidence: When clients feel that they look their best, their confidence naturally increases. A suitable hair colour can make a significant difference in how they perceive themselves.
