How to avoid Mistakes with Hair Painting for Red and coppers 

Hot roots

  • This is when you have lighter and brighter roots than the rest of the hair (also known as root glow)
  • This can be avoided when you know how to formulate with my unique 5-6-7-8 leveling system designed for reds and coppers because
  • I am teaching this in my 4-day Hair Painting for Redheads Bootcamp

Banding 

  • This is when there are different stripes in different zones along the length of the hair caused by different layers of colour buildup and can be combine with hot roots
  • This can be avoided when you know how to formulate for reds and a couple of express colour correction techniques to fix it when you see this in your salon chair
  • I am teaching this in my 4-day Hair Painting for Redheads Bootcamp

Wanting reds and coppers to look as natural as possible as opposed to always being a bright fashion colour

  • This happens when hairdressers miscalculate or misunderstand the client in the consultation because not all redheads want to look like they just stepped out of the salon
  • This can be avoided when you know your colour system and reflect principles for natural-looking results and natural grey coverage options for mature redheads
