learn the rules, then break some…
Generally speaking, most natural redheads have cool skin tones. In this podcast episode, I am focussing on my niche area of reds and copper, however, this is such a juicy topic that I will definitely record a few more episodes in the future about the different tones for warm and cool brunettes PLUS the different tones between warm and cool blondes.
Let’s get back to chatting about warm and cool reds …. Clients with warm complexions best suit warm hair colours. There's a lot more to consider, including eye colour and eyebrow colour, plus lifestyle and hair texture.
There are 3 types of colours that suit different complexions. They are;
- The WARM red hair colour best suits clients with warm complexions and with green, blue or hazel eyes
- The COOL red hair best suits clients with a warm or olive complexion and blue eyes (but not dark eyes)
- The BRIGHT red colours suit client switch ivory, beige or porcelain complexion and jewel-toned eyes
