We dive deep into Hashtags for Hairdressers
We dive deep and discuss in depth how to use Hashtags for Hairdressers to help clients discover you, including these hot topics listed below;
- How many hashtags?
30 is maximum and increases your chance of being discovered. But remember you don’t have to use 30 each post. Perhaps break it down into groups of 10 as community (so important to create community and also include location eg. chapel street Melbourne, 10 hashtags for location (and exact location), and 10 about clients (small biz, girl boss, clients that you want to attract). - Should Hairdressers and Salon Owners research hashtags before using them?
Did you know that you can research hashtags in the tab bar in instagram?If a hashtag doesn’t exist when you search it think of it as a key word and then create a hashtag. Hashtags are like a website SEO search…. A client might search these, so think about this when you create your hashtags. For example location wedding hair stylists could be something that a potential new client is searching for. - What are location hashtags for hairdressers?
Think of your LOCATION + WHAT YOU DO
eg: #sydneyredhairSpecialist #MelbourneHairdresser #ByronBayWeddingHair #LosAngelesGlamourHair #Toronto or zip code or a post code. - What are some hair specific hashtags?
Think about what is relevant in your posts. Think about what’s in your post. You can NOT use the same hashtags in every post. Think about what image you are sharing and only use hashtags that reflect this!
