I am a Sydney based Haircolour Expert that specialises in complex colour transformations, red/copper hair, blondes and fussy clients. I share the steps that I took to rebrand in the last 18 months, including a new website, new branding, and working to share content on my socials that I want to attract back into my salon life. My client requests have increased, and my clientele is varied seeking creative and corrective haircolour’s. This keeps me in my genius zone where I love to be offering services I deliver with exceptional quality because it’s my niche.
Learn how to create this scenario for your own salon business, or clientele, with an understanding of why rebranding may be the best thing for your biz right now if you vibe is not currently attracting your tribe.
2 things I recommend to change immediately to attract your dream clients:
1. Look at your Instagram bio and change words to include your location + specialist services. Be clear on what it is that you currently do, or use this bio as your online business card to attract what it is you want to be doing.
2. Invest in a couple of professional photoshoots with a photographer to capture salon scenarios including consultations, mixing colour, measuring or applying treatments, basin work, trolley setup, sectioning hair etc. Any service that you are currently offering is ideal to share educational posts on your social media to explain what you offer it and what type of hair it is suitable for. Don’t just post bouncy wavy balayage without faces and action shots in your social media feed

Plus I share a free downloadable resource on my website that is a simple worksheet to help you figure out who your dream client is and how to target that type of client.
Coming up next week: David Stanko and I talk about haircolour success with formulations and we get all geeky about how to paint and know why in every situation. I have toured the US with David in the past and remained in close contact ever since. He is known in the industry as the “Formula Boss” and has created a universal technique collection, called Lifestyle Colouring. If you want to hear us talk about HOT ROOTS and more don’t miss it!!
