What is the big deal about personal branding?
Branding is so important for salon owners and hairdressers that are independent operators, freelancers, chair-renters, suite owners and self-employed to build and communicate an authentic personal brand to attract dream clients.
If you work within a business or a company you still need to tell people what you want and what your goals are (which is another form of personal branding) clearly in your communication whether you’re the person running the business or not.
Or if you are an employer you can help build your employees to be awesome brand ambassadors and advocates for your biz when they understand your biz brand and are encouraged to develop their own personal branding within that structure. It is an asset to have a team in your salon if you an owner to share your message
We all have a personal brand whether you think so or not. People are making a decision about you whether you realized that or not. So you might as well take control and tell that story yourself…
