Elaine Travis is a career colourist, salon owner, independent educator, author and life coach. Her passion is paying it forward and sharing her love of hair colour travelling throughout the country teaching tips and techniques to stylists struggling with formulation and building their businesses.

Every stylist that has trained with Elaine fresh out of beauty school has earned $50,000 behind the chair within the first year using her methods. In 2012 she started her education company Expert Color Solutions after seeing a need for more simplified colour education. LET’S MEET OUR GUEST –Elaine Travis

Elaine knew she wanted to be a Hairdresser since grade school. She did all aspects of hair and beauty. She opened her own salon at 22. She was the first person to open a salon suite, but that was not intentional. She simply did not want to lead others. 

Elaine specialises in colour. She is really good at taking people from clueless out of beauty school to fearless. She hired team members when her biz needed it. She has trained so many people to be successful. I am a close friend of Elaine's even though we have never met! We love working together online and share the same passion for helping others with a deep love for all things colour! 

After many years she decided she loved teaching and not doing hair anymore. After 7 years of struggling with a decision, she stopped being on the salon floor and dived into being a full-time Educator. REVIVAL IS A 2-DAY VIRTUAL EVENT IN OCTOBER 2021

Elaine was only 1.5 years into education & she was looking forward to all the big hair events in the USA. But then things were changing with events, and the Chicago Show and a few others were cancelled. She had no fallback to the salon for an income. Elaine Travis teaches hairdressers how to formulate fearlessly using her signature formula, aptly named “The Universal Law of Lift”. Have you ever mixed up colour and then get stuck on how it went wrong? Knowing the colour is only half the equation.
