Pinterest is awesome for beauty businesses
Pinterest is one of Celeste’s favourite platforms in her business and teaching her students to use in their hair and beauty businesses. Unlike any other social media, it is a search engine. It is a long-term platform that is evergreen with each post having a much longer active attraction than Instagram of Facebook. There is a long-term gain. It is a Pinterest account that keeps giving.
Pinterest can lead you to a booking site, website and most importantly grow your authority, and let's face it most of us hairdressers are educators & might be in the future.
PRO TIPS FOR PINNING:
- Pinterest is a search engine (it’s not a social networking site)
- You can use Pinterest to drive traffic to your website and products
- It’s important to switch your Pinterest to a business account if using for your business
- Use a scheduling app like Tailwind. This app will create one post and make 20 different posts from one picture. This is about how we can make pinning easier!!
- The top pins feature in Pinterest shows you what pins people are loving on your account. This is helpful for you to know what to make more of and grow.
- Have fun pinning!
