Cinnamon Haircolour

Hottest trends for Brunettes
Cinnamon auburn is the hottest trend for brunettes wanting to explore warmer tones or colour shy natural redheads feeling like a sophisticated change.
We are still seeing very colourful unicorn hair, rose–golds, and peach pastels across social media. However, classic brunette shades are making a comeback. In my opinion, they never really left the spotlight. Brown is sometimes mistakenly considered the most boring of hair colours, but I like to assure my clients that the right brunette shade can take careful experimentation and is far from dull when painted to enhance or complement your complexion.
Cinnamon hair colour is a gorgeous, spicy golden tone that is highly suitable for brunettes wanting to try something a little bit different, yet still remain within the realm of what they are comfortable doing or already wearing. Just because it's a classic does not mean it has to be boring though.
Cinnamon hair colour can look different in various lights and could be mistaken for a medium to dark brunette, or a chocolate brown perhaps. In brighter lighting and direct sunlight, the hair will have noticeably varied strands of sunny golds and topaz and lighter bronze strands, that when combined create this gorgeous spicy golden tone that is understated yet exquisite.
If you have been contemplating dying to go darker or wanting to try warmth, cinnamon is the colour for you. This trend can be achieved with semi-permanent or permanent results. Or if you want a quick fix with low commitment, my suggestion is to try a temporary gloss toner that can be applied over existing balayage or ombre or foil highlights. This colour trend has loads of dimension and texture whilst exploring warmer hues.
Cinnamon sits incredibly well on lighter brunettes and darker brunettes wanting to go a little lighter. This colour is also a gorgeous tone to try for natural redheads wanting to experience being a brunette, without the risk of drabbing down their natural glorious hair colour to a mousy brown tone or heading too dark to suit their skin tone.
I have compiled a few gorgeous colour inspirations in this blog post for you to save in your inspo folder to take to your next hair colour visit. It is important with this trend, just like every other trend, to consult your colourist if this would suit you.
This hair colour trend is shiny, sparkly, and warm, which makes it suitable for almost every complexion. It is a classic Autumn tone that can be worn all year round. It's not quite as red as auburn or chestnut, however, sits closely within that realm of gorgeous, warm autumn shades.
