Episode 42
Avoid burnout as a Hairdresser
Learn self care and boundaries, with hayley jepsen

What we'll be talking about
Wondering how to avoid burnout as a Hairdresser working in the salon? In this episode of the Colour Kristina Talks Podcast, we answer that question.
Hayley Jepsen aka ‘The Resilient Hairdresser' empowers hairdressers to avoid burnout and know how to thrive. She has a background in hairdressing & psychotherapy. And currently she is working behind the salon chair again PLUS she’s about to launch her very first online course to help hairdressers raise their mood and boost their self esteem.
2020 is certainly a year unlike any other. Emotionally and physically hairdressers' lives have become more difficult to navigate. It takes a lot more energy to work in PPE than without it… and add on top of that a couple of other stresses or responsibilities and you can see why a lot of us are feeling worn out.
If you’re ready to learn how to take care of yourself, we’ve got you covered. Listen to learn more about becoming a resilient Hairdresser.

It’s so important to establish personal and professional boundaries. And I want each of you to be kind to yourselves and each other. It’s easy amongst the madness to try and keep busy to get through tough times, but it’s so important to take some time to rest, recharge and feel all the emotions without rushing them through.
